The sleepless nights for the wife begin. I’m shocked she managed a full day at work, didn’t sleep, then went again to work. Then we had to be out the house for a few hours - we’ve managed to go through with moving house - but we’ve got back at a decent time for her to go to bed early and try and sleep. But guess who’s still awake!? Anyway, I know this blog is all about us and the experiences we have as a same sex couple being pregnant. But. Today is a very sad day. Thursday 8th September 2022, HM Queen Elizabeth II died peacefully at the age of 96 at her home in Balmoral, Scotland. With Prince Charles of Wales becoming King Charles III. It’s a sad time for the country as everyone, including myself, thought of our Queenie as a grandmother. She’s irreplaceable! We are forever greatful for your service Ma’am.
