The UK Non-Biological Mother

  Due day.  We’ve been on walks, been curb walking (where you walk with one foot on the road and one on the curb) and I’ve been what probably looks like trying to perform an exorcism on the wife with all of the essential oils. All to no avail. The little witch is snug as a bug in a rug. With her mother’s stubbornness. Brilliant. She’s done more bouncing to the moon and back. Even the dogs were getting fed up and trying to help as you can see. One of our walks including venturing down to Southsea for a go in the arcades. The wife just really wanted to go on the 2p machines 🤣 We were hardcore and went for a shop at asda in Swindon with my mum. I mean, who doesn’t love an asda. We’ve just come to the conclusion that the wife is going to be forever pregnant. It’s taken us so long to get pregnant that we’re stuck like this for eternity. Also, we saw i wicked rainbow at Southsea.

  39 weeks pregnant. Wow. This pregnancy is lasting forever. The baby is classed as a mini watermelon, so I’ve been telling the wife ‘she carried a watermelon’ like that there Dirty Dancing film 🤣 We’ve got the boys photo ready in the hope the baby is coming, I’ll pop in some before and after photos, and also if the wife could of she’d have bounced her way to the moon on her maternity ball. This is the wife’s last week at work - she’s so excited as she’s starting to struggle a bit. We had our 3rd wedding anniversary also and went for a banging meal at the harvester. Because who doesn’t love a harvester!  Still no sign of the baby. 🙄

  We’ve met up with a lot of the wives ex colleagues recently as she hadn’t seen them since she left the ambulance service. The wife is deffo the size of a volley ball. I’m having to help with her putting her socks and shoes on atm. It’s quite funny 🤣 I can just hear loads of grunting from the other room. And she won’t ask for help. She’s stubborn.  She’s spent most of this week bouncing on her maternity ball, finding it more comfortable. I’ve been trying my best to help her feel a bit more comfortable but there’s only so much I can do. She’s really been struggling with heart burn too. Who knows. Actual week 38 + could be the time.
